Gruppo Forti, active in the sectors of building and ecology, presents its new headquarters in Montacchiello, between Pisa and Livorno.
The building represents an example of sustainable architecture, achieved thanks to sophisticated technical and architectural asolutions realized on a project by Studio ATIproject.
The southeastern facade was built with large windows with linear variable pitch sunscreens, while the south façade has been entirely covered with photovoltaic panels. The work environment is bright and offers an open view on the surrounding hills.
The green is present in the interior of the building with terraces covered in natural materials and hanging gardens that contribute to the regulation of the microclimate.
The solar production meets about 80% of the company consumption, providing the supply of electricity for the air conditioning in winter and summer and for the lighting plant.
The mix of renewable energy sources and strategies of consumption allow the complex to represent a point of reference for the sustainable construction sector of the entire Region of Tuscany and the structure is a candidate for the LEED Gold rating sustainability certification,

L’edificio rappresenta un esempio di architettura sostenibile, ottenuta grazie ad accorgimenti tecnici e architettonici sofisticati su progetto delle Studio ATIproject
La facciata sud-est è stata costruita con grandi vetrate continue, schermate da frangisole lineari a passo variabile, mentre la facciata sud è stata interamente rivestita con pannelli fotovoltaici. Gli ambienti di lavoro risultano così luminosi e godono di una vista aperta sulle alture circostanti.
Il verde è presente anche all’interno dell’edificio con terrazze rivestite in materiali naturali e giardini pensili che contribuiscono alla regolazione del microclima.
La produzione solare soddisfa circa l’80% dei consumi aziendali, provvedendo alla fornitura dell’elettricità per il condizionamento invernale ed estivo degli ambienti e per l’impianto di illuminotecnica.
Il mix di fonti rinnovabili e strategie di contenimento dei consumi consentono al complesso di rappresentare un punto di riferimento per l’edilizia sostenibile di tutta la Regione Toscana: la struttura è candidata, infatti, alla certificazione di sostenibilità LEED Gold rating.
